The instructions for assembly are easy to follow, however, it is better to put the top on after you have flipped it back on it's feet. The top for the desk is butcher block which makes it heavy. Picking all of this up as a unit is awkward and heavy. The desk itself is beautiful and functional. I love the stand up feature of this desk. Definitely worth the price for a quality desk.
