I bought this desk for my 11 year old daughter for homeschool. There is plenty of room for her work and then some. She can transition easily from one subject to the next and can easily spread out her work.The drawing table that slants up was a little complicated to assemble. And it does try to hang up a bit as we lower or raise it, but it’s minimal and not really an issue.I like cause it’s simple to put together and perfect sizeI would give this item 5 stars, but the adjustable hinge was broken when I received it. I contacted Amazon and asked them to contact the seller about sending me a new one and just replacing the broken one. Well, the company did send me something, but it was the assembly parts for the desk and not the part I actually needed. Hopefully they see this and contact me about sending me the part I actually need. Otherwise, the desk is as described and fairly easy to assemble. The only other thing that bugs me is that the assembly parts are a different color than the frame.Bought this for my daughter as she is starting to draw more. Room on top for computer and drawing supplies. Easy to put together.Love that one side lifts up and other stays flat.Desk is very nice. Great value for the money. Pretty easy to assemble and sturdy. Perfect size , actually bigger than i thoght .Good productInstructions dont make sense. There are parts it instructs you to attach to other pieces yet there isnt a way to do it, (no holes to insert any screws). There was one screw opening covered by metal. The most annoying part is the lever youre supposed to install at the end only to discover it doesnt clear the back piece of wood. And the way the lever works, it has to be fully extended in order to go back down again. So you have to either not have a desk that extends or chose to have it permanently extended where it comes in constact with the back peice of wood. I wasnt expecting perfection at this price but I was at least hoping to have a functional drafting table. Extremely disappointed.
