Safco Products 1943BLSL Black/Silver Home Office Computer Desk - Perfect for Small Spaces, Remote Work & Study

I bought this desk to stick in my unfinished home office until I figure out a long-term design solution. The box it came in was on the heavy side, but assembly was pretty simple. I like the look and the size was exactly what I thought it would be. Holds my laptop and external monitor just fine. However I found it to be not as sturdy as I expected if I'm leaning against the desk or holding on to it as I roll my chair in or out. Also I noticed some water rings/hand smudges on the desk surface that are hard to clean off. But other than that I am very happy with it.The table is chipped in 2 spots - very disappointingI ordered the Cherry/Black version of this desk. The first thing I noticed when i opened the box, is that the color is NOT cherry. It is more of an ugly orange. It does NOT look like the picture. Additionally, it is NOT sturdy at all. It is extremely wobbly. I am not happy with this purchase. Save yourself time and money and buy a computer table or desk on the bestsellers list, with verified purchaser reviews. The desk is large and will be a hassle to return.This table arrived on time, well packaged, and was easy to assemble. It comes with a hex wrench for fastening the legs to a white ring that attaches to the underside of the table top. You'll need a screwdriver to attach the ring to the table top. The table top is a laminate and seems very easy to clean. Assembly took no longer than ten minutes. It seems relatively study and I use it as a computer desk in an extra room. Sturdy, lightweight, easy to assemble, and looks somewhat modern in my office. It is a normal desk height, as my armed desk chair fits underneath without any issue.So disappointed!1. The color is not white as shown in the picture. It's creme.2. Height is slightly more than 29 inches.3. Took 30 minutes to assemble.4. One of the screws (They call it "E" part) did not fit.5. The table is not sturdy at all. It wobbles just by a little push and keeps wobbling like a pendulum. There is no way one can do writing on it.I had a coaster desk for 2 years which was cheaper, had a nice glass top and was much sturdier than this!Now I will have to go through the whole cumbersome process of asking for a return label, packing it again and wait for the UPS to pick it up! Very Annoying experience! Wish I wouldn't have bought it :-(Not recommendedThe desk is fine, sturdy and easy to assemble but the desktop arrived with all 4 corners dented or smashed.Placed on hardwood floor, the table wobbles as I type. It is even making me a little seasick. Frame has a slight dent in the middle. Easy assembly.Great product. Very easy to assemble. Heavier table top than I expected - not in a good or bad way.Loses one star for arriving with minor damage on one corner of the desktop.Got it on sale, cost about $30 with delivery. Easy to setup, looks good, no regrets. I would feel real cheated at full price, so take this with a grain of salt.
