Nice and durable. A bit hard to assemble, need to buy some tools to assemble it.There is a lot to like about this desk. It came just as described. Took a bit of time to assemble but was easy enough and all parts were included. Very nice looking sturdy desk. Love the color and the distressed texture. With the prices of desks these days I think this one is a great value for the money. This is a nice desk but there are a few things I'd like to point out to anyone looking to purchase it.Pros:- Nice looking, exactly as shown in the pictures- Feels sturdy for a particle board desk- Very affordable compared to other corner desks that don't look nearly as good.- Support is top tier. I had some damage on the front shelving board and contacted support to have it replaced. Spoke with a live person after making one selection within the automated answering service and spent a total of 5 minutes on the phone. The warranty covers the desk over the course of a year and from my understanding it covers everything except water damage or damage from moving.- Fit the dimensions I was looking for as described.Cons:- I'm not a huge fan of how the desk mounts into the shelving unit. It's basically 2 small metal brackets and then a bottom board you screw into. It "feels" sturdy but only the test of time will really tell if the desk decides to sag or anything gives. My advice is to avoid placing anything very heavy on the crease where the cabinet and desk meet.- Not really a con but more of an annoyance. There is an massive amount of Styrofoam that will turn your living space into a winter wonderland once you unpack everything. Even with all this styrofoam I still have a damaged board from shipping but with the great service I got from Bush I can cancel out the shipping damage as that sometimes just happens...- Take note of the cavity where you would sit with your office chair. The desk opening only measures at 28 1/2" inches wide. Meanwhile, my office chair from arm to arm measures at 30" inches. I find this to be a bit uncomfortable for a full keyboard and mouse setup. My suggestion is to use a chair that measures under 28" inches wide.- The height of the desk is 30" inches and I feel it's OK for a desk height as I'm 5'8 in height but I would have preferred it to be 28"-29" inches high. You might not think an inch or two makes much of a difference but depending on the office chair you are using this could be a difficult height. Otherwise, look at layering rugs for the chair space to raise the chair height if you feel the desk is too high.- The phone charger/placement compartment shelf is a joke. The assembly is basically a small board which doesn't even go to the depth of the desk (I'd say 5"-6" inches in depth) and it houses a velvet mini shelf that is molded together with Velcro. Don't bother wasting your time assembling this as it will just flatten out and I don't find it to be practical anyways. You could either build the "mini" shelf as described to maybe provide a bit more structural integrity or just dispose of it completely and leave the whole shelf open for larger items such as a printer or anything else that would utilize the large space. The desk was fairly easy to assemble, I was able to do it just by myself without needing help. However, go slow and be patient if you are assembling this yourself as joining the desk to the cabinet will put strain on the desk legs until everything is bolted together. Again, take note of the chair opening for this desk as it only 28 1/2" inches wide. Unless your chair measures under 28" inches or you're willing to buy a new chair to meet that width I would maybe look at another desk with a wider opening. Otherwise, I feel you'd be quite satisfied after assembling this desk and using it day to day.I like this desk overall. It fits my 3 monitors and I have plenty of room to type on my keyboard. I wish there was another drawer though. I gave it 4 stars because the finish has already chipped off in some places. I am overall happy with the purchase.I purchased this item at full price, along with the matching hutch. The good -Relatively inexpensiveSmall footprint with a lot of surface areaReversibleEasy assembly - I did it in about and hour, alone while also juggling conference calls - Holes are aligned correctly (except one), instructions are clear, hardware is packed neatly and labelledThe bad-It's not quite flush everywhere - but it is particle board so it is expected at this price pointNo extra hardwareThe corner piece is not free standing - it only has legs on one sideThe packaging - this item is about 80# and is being shipped through UPS/FedEx with a crappy box and packing. The box itself is about 14"x60"x50" (sorry for the estimate, already recycled the box) so it can only be effectively stood on the narrow sides. The box should be sturdier and the items should be tighter packed. The first box I received had a clear point of drop on one corner and seemed a bit bulged. Once opened, it was clear that everything inside had shifted around and many pieces were broken. The box is not packed in a way that is secure when stood on the narrow sides. I had no choice but to return that one and have a new one sent. The new package did show some wear, but not nearly as bad. There were many shifted pieces inside, as gravity tends to win. They had slide out of their place, and settled towards the bottom of the box. Nothing was so damaged that it was worth sending it back again. This desk was PERFECT for what I needed it for (corner home office desk). Needed another person's help to connect the main & side portions, but otherwise it was relatively easy to put together. I've been using this for a few months now (on carpet) and it has been very sturdy. I have a 20 inch monitor on the left side, smaller work laptop in the middle, and mouse on the right, and I have plenty of elbow room to do my work comfortably. I even have additional room to display my books next to my mouse as well. I would recommend the desk itself for sure, but my only caution to you would be that you must be willing to EXPECT that your desk will be delivered with broken or missing pieces. Someone had mentioned that when their box was delivered, it looked like it had been through a war zone, and that is exactly how it will probably come to you. The good thing is that if you call Bush Signature, they are pleasant and will replace all missing/broken pieces free of charge (you just have to give them a list of the pieces that you need). I don't understand why they don't just pack everything properly to begin with (it would seem to me that they'd save more money that way), but based on the other reviews, it looks like this is something that happens a lot. I was missing a few pieces, some pieces were broken, and the main desk area was horribly scratched and dented. Thankfully they sent me the replacement pieces without a fuss. This is actually the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, it is just as expected and I am very satisfied with the product.I have a dual monitor and I don't actually mind the space on the desktop. Still lots of room for paperwork. An easily assembled desk that looks nice and doesn't feel or look cheap. The only silly thing are the screws that go on the back. A ton of the heads fell off as I was trying to bang them into the back of the desk (one of those support panels that have a million screws to hammer in). I had to use my own in the end because half of them broke. I also love that you can choose which side of the desk the drawer goes on!Decent quality, but not impressed with packaging and shipping. Pats inside arrived dislodged. This probably caused the parts to scratch each other.Other than that, the desk is well designed, sturdy and easy to assembly.Desk isn’t very good quality.Desk came damaged but after spending 3 hours putting it together I wasn’t sending it backGreat product once built. Take your time and do it rightHave been using the desk for one month plus a week - sides are already coming off with just regular work routines. Not worth the money - at all.
