I'm way in my 80s with arthritis, Sitting and reading for hours is not for me. I feel okay when standing, walking. So I'm setting up my podium to read there, even to watch TV. I'm way over 5' but wheels had to be removed for height. Podium must be weighted down so it's more secure when leaning. Podium should arrive with a small rug to stand on, to protect carpeting and to keep it from moving. I'm light, but a bigger person might fall head first when leaning. Wish I owned it during the months when covid 19 kept me at home! I shall store my many, heavy photo albums on one shelf to make it more sturdy.Go ahead and change your shipping address to the landfill. That’s where this one will end up and at least the earth could save the carbon emission of shipping it to the house.It arrived in a terrible damaged box. The wood was dented as can be seen in one if the photos.It came with no assembly instructions.It was missing a screw.The “ikea” studs were too short and I had to install them about half way to get the ikea nuts to engage them. So it’s a bit floppy when it could have easily been sturdy.The panel that goes at the top, could have been front or back, is too short to fill the gap. I put it in back so it was less noticeable.It seemed to have been assembled before because the screw holes for the clip on the top panel were stripped out. Guess this doesn’t matter because this was the missing screw. Can’t complain about it being stripped if there’s no screw to stick in the hole I guess.I could go on but you’ve been warned.Start falling apart from day one. I had to put screws around it to keep it from falling apart. The wood is such a bad quality doesn't even keep the screws. Waste of money. Thank you amazon for allowing horrible products to be sold in your website.Right out of the box I noticed some random scuff along some of the edges on the pressed paper or MDF boards. Still, I went ahead assembling it thinking that it may be sturdier than it appeared but as I was 1/2 way finished, the side piece of the podium was missing the plastic threaded inserts for the screws that secure it to the adjoining piece. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS!Mine arrived without directionsLovelyArrived without a manual
