Purchased the Pro Track Can Floor Light to use as an accent light on the floor behind a large potted Hibiscus in the corner of our living room. The light (which has an adjustable angle and can also be attached to walls/ceiling) is aimed vertically towards the ceiling where two walls intersect.I use a 40 watt bulb (60 watt maximum) to illuminate the Hibiscus branches and leaves which are nicely silhouetted against the ceiling and change as the plant grows or the leaves are moved by the breeze. The end result is a soft blend of leaf shadows and patches of light on the ceiling and upper walls. This look is very pleasing and creates a nice ambiance for conversation, music, reading or watching TV.The Pro Track light has an on/off toggle switch located on the cord. For a setting like mine, with the cord along the floor behind a plant, the switch is inconvenient to access. However, this was easily remedied by plugging the light into an adjustable timer, which automatically turns on daily from sunset until midnight.In conclusion, at a cost of less than $15 we now have a completely new and very pleasant evening atmosphere for our living room through the use of this inexpensive floor light. I highly recommend the Pro Track Can Accent Floor Light. It is an excellent value at $15 or less.
