Cute and stylish but not very practical for my use. I bought this lamp to put on a table between the two chairs my husband and I sit in every evening. The problem is two-fold. First, in order to adjust the lamp on my side so I can see best, it makes the angle on his side so that the light hits him right in the eye.Also there is a little knob that loosens and tightens the top of the shade so you can adjust the angle, but it works very poorly. I can only get it to change about 1/4" up or down. So if you only want to use one side of this lamp at a time, it would be fine. But then you wouldn't need a double shade lamp for that. For the price, this lamp should have been much better quality and the adjustablity could be greatly improved.Packaging doesn't provide proper support and guides for quality control to see before shipment & light posts were not parallel - can't straighten them to make them parallel.Delivered with the two light posts in a slight 'V', bent apart and I can't get them straight/parallel to each other.Delivered with cheap wing nuts(?) not attached but 'somewhere' in the box to find. The connections to tilt the lights up/down seems to use bad metals and wouldn't last long for multiple people tilting it to their liking to read. If it is a set it and forget it for one then it should be fine.Overall, way too high of a cost for such low quality.I was hesitant to buy this because I thought it might look too mid-century modern--but when it came out of the box, I was impressed. It's much heavier than I expected--and really very attractive. Now--here's the downside--which wasn't a surprise because other people mentioned the fact that the heads only move up and down--they don't swivel sideways. However, I thought it would still work as a bedside table between two twin beds. But it didn't work all that well because not being able to swivel limits being able to direct the light as much as I wanted. Having said all this, however, it's such an attractive lamp that I decided to put it on another table in the same room--and it's great. Provides nice light--and looks great. If the heads swiveled sideways, and not just up and down, I'd definitely give it 5 stars. But if that isn't an issue for you--then I highly recommend this table lamp.I ordered the double light table lamp.It came packed well enough, and it was bigger than I expected. I was glad to see it takes regular light bulbs.However, when I went to flip the switch to turn the lamps on, I noticed the two lamps had their on/off switch on different sides. So, one side faced me and I could see to flip the witch on and off, but the other light has the switch on the back side of the lamp making you reach your hand around the back of the lamp to turn the 2nd light on. Unfortunately, the lamp with the switch on the back side is not adjustable to the front. The lamp only adjusts the shade up and down, not front to back. This is just a very weird design. Why would they not make the on/off switch for both lamps on the same side? I've never seen anything like this before.The other downside is the price. It wouldn't be so bad if the switch were on the same side, but since it appears to be a defective design, the price is too much.It's friggin' bizarre! I might continue looking at lamps to see if I can find one like this with the switches on the same sides, because this is annoying and inconvenient.Not one of their pictures shows the on/off switches, which is deceptive to the buyers. If you turn the 360 image, it doesn't show the on/off switches! Unbelievable.Nice looking, but this lamp DID NOT come with a USB port though. I wasn't buying it for that, thankfully. But it would have been nice to have for a phone charger (it's by our bed).Also - the picture makes it look like it's brushed nickel - - but it's an antique brass color. My mistake - I didn't look/read closely enough.It is a little shorter than I was thinking but it actually is just fine. Love the light, my only complain is I wish all three heads turned in all directions they actually only move up and down. But I am happy with the light.I was pleasantly surprised with this lamp!
