Edit: I've now received my replacement set. This set, also, had one of the clamps with a problem. It was so hard to turn I could not do it without pliers. Therefore, I took the one good clamp from the first set, and the one good clamp from the second set, and was able to use it. I mounted my set resting on top of the desk - I know this is different than their pics, but 1) there were no instructions, and this is how I thought it would be, and 2) after seeing their pics online, I decided to leave mine as is, as I think it gives it more stability. It's a fine set once you have proper parts. I'm still knocking off one star because of the bad clamps.Original post: One of the clamps in this set had glue on it, which prevented it from turning. I'm guessing this was a returned set that was sent out again, and that the previous user tried to glue it to keep it from unscrewing? I've requested a replacement set. It will be interesting to see if the replacement set of clamps stays in place. I will update this review when I get it.
