This unique desk lamp combines style and functionality into one dynamic product! The interesting pyramid base includes a touch dimming switch to change between three distinct levels of brightness. A built-in 5V USB charging port is contained at the rear of the pyramid, allowing for the convenient charging of devices such as a smart phone, tablet, reader and so forth. Got this lamp for my desk. The base is small and takes up very little space at the back of my desk. When doing paperwork, I use the lower brightness settings and keep the arm to the back of the desk. When I doing crafts or hobbies, I swing the arm forward (the base stays out of the way) and use the brighter settings. My husbands paints miniature soldiers and one day complained about not being able to see the details like he used to. I let him borrow my lamp to see if better lighting would help…I never got it back. :) The lamp made such a difference for him that I told him to keep it and I bought myself another one. Definitely recommend!
