I recently got into PC gaming with the purchase of a Steam Deck and wanted a desk for using my Steam Deck in desktop mode. I managed to snag one of these from Amazon Warehouse in "Very Good" condition for roughly $55 and I could not be happier. Assembly time was roughly an hour with just the provided allen wrench and a manual screwdriver. My initial thought was to use the phone/tablet stand for the placement of my Steam Deck, however once I did get the desk I came to find that the stand is actually one solid piece unlike some other desks with a similar design as this one and would block the vents on the back of the Deck. The under desk storage is a nice touch as I use the back storage compartment for the placement of a USB hub that has all my connections and peripherals connected to the Deck. The storage compartment on the front end of the desk is wider than I expected it to be so I have to slide one arm of my chair into the storage area in order to get the chair fully under the desk, something that would not be an issue if you have a chair with adjustable arms. One "con" is that the speaker shelves are kind of flimsy as they do not have a solid base, and your speakers may have difficulty staying on depending on their size. Mine are on the smaller size so I had to use a couple of zip ties to hold them firmly in place with no fear of tipping over. The stand for my monitor also does not fit fully on the raised shelf due to it being a V shape, however pulling the desk a couple inches from the wall allowed it to sit just fine. These are minor gripes and overall I would say this is an awesome desk for someone just getting into PC gaming, especially given the price compared to other options.Very sturdy, my boyfriend bought him a red one and me the blue one and we set it up side by side for gaming and i built it all by myself he usually puts the stuff together cuz its to complicated, but this was so easy to assemble i love it. The only downside was that his came with lights and mine didnt.Instructions could have been more clear, but overall it a great first gaming desk for a good price. I didn’t add most of the baskets/accessories. Seems sturdy enough for a pc setup but I only have a console on it as my monitor is hung on the wall.Got to be the most best desk and one of the first ones I've ever had I truly think I might have this for a while I don't think I'm ever going to get in our time like it I rather this desk over any other well at least until I need a big one for more monitors but overall a really good desk everything is really cool about it it's pretty neat really annoying to assemble but overall pretty easy I really do recommend this deskWonderful design. Its very open compared to my last cubicle style computer desk. The cup holder is awesome! I just wish it had a slot that allowed coffee mugs! The back basked although, I believe we made upside down, and if I knew how to upload picture here I would, but they wouldn't attach to hold anything so the were placed upside down. I might do some redneck magic later to fix them. Other than that it had a slight dent/misconforiguation but that's at the back corner and I can barely see it. Overall looks great and east to put together!Ohh something to add the texture of the dest doesn't really like my mouse so a moue pad is suggested! This is perfect for our needs and a nice desk for the price point. Photos are accurate. Not the easiest assembly but not the worst either! The wire speaker "shelves" on the side are kind of odd and seem like an upside-down feature; it fooled me during assembly, and my father at first thought I assembled those wrong when he looked at the desk. The space for those seems it could have been used better, but overall we're happy with the desk and would recommend.Everything is good except where you hang headset the screw did not take well and the headset hold fell off. I am hoping they can send me screws and maybe something that the screws can stay in.Amazing! Nice size, easy to assemble. For the price it’s going to be impossible to top this desk.Everything was exactly as I expected. And for anyone who thinks the trays are welded wrong or “upside down” for the love of god read the instructions. It also recommends a “competent” adult do the assembly which clearly isn’t the case for a lot of these people reviewing. For the price again it’s impossible to get a better desk and unless your “rage smashing” the main platform the durability of the monitor stand is not an issue. It’s sturdy and level, looks & feels great. For $160 CAD you will not get a better desk. 5 starsI bought this desk for my computer set up and there was a little trepedation when buying. I'm a tall man who is a tad overweight so I wasn't sure I was going to fit under this desk due to the cage underneath but I'm happy to report that a 6'1 man who has a bit of thicc chunk can fit under very comfortably with some room to spare. The monitor stand for this thing is close to useless for me because my monitor is height adjustable and I prefer the extra space I'd have without it otherwise if you have a titchy monitor or tv it might be useful but even then I thought it a bit high. The texture of the desk is good to work on but goes right through me when I wipe the desk down it reminds me a bit of when you run your fingers up and down one of those lenticular things you used to get in Quavers. Everything fits on my desk nicely with plenty of space to spare- it's nice that the upside down cage things on the side are the perfect size for my speakers to sit on too. The desk also has storage on the back for two average sized controllers and a stand for a tablet though I just put my phone there when I'm working at the desk. The blue trim on mine doesn't stick out too much either, it does just look like a sturdy piece of furniture. My partner built this for me when I was at work and she said it was easy enough to build.Good qualityThe stand for monitor is supper wobbly and I don't recommend this table. Every touch on the table it will lead your monitor to wobble on those handles. The rack under the table right in the middle is useless and was bringing a lot of discomforts so I've removed it. Also, dust is super hard to wipe off this table, the texture of it keeps a lot of dust. Also, the edge of the table is sharp and cuts into your hand when you type. The desk is pretty good except one of the steel bars underneath the table did not fit. The angle was wrong and it could not be screwed on as a result. Luckily the desk isn't supporting anything too heavy. But it's worth checking that first before assembling according to instructions
