I have delt with so much composit "wood" furniture that I wasn't sure anyone still used wood sub $500. Good on you Hillsdale. The desk is sturdy, thick, and seems tough. The only somewhat of a downside is it is a little simple. The one drawer is sanded wood and sturdy. Sturdy might be the best way to describe the entire piece. It wheels easy enough as well. Assembly was quick, the drawer is pre-assembled. Great, except for one hex screw behind the drawer. Also make sure you install the back before you start the second legs. I found that installing the open side of the legs to last is the easiest method. They have you installing it first My son loves it and it is big enough that I as an adult can use it as well. So he will have many years with it and thanks to the sturdy build quality and material it will last. Funny he never mentioned he wanted a desk, and minutes after cleaning up I snapped these pictures. He moved right into it right away, and now his little brother wants one. Just a fantastic product and a real deal at this price range. Couldn't recommend it more.
