Solidly constructed and works exactly as advertised. Gooseneck can be locked into a weighted base or clamp for secure mounting. Very reasonably priced!Magnifying glass isn’t right for desk hobbies. Lighting is awesome! Light color and strength are adjustable, like plant lights. Magnifying glass is still good for reading small print and for work you can hold up to it. Base is sturdy. I love the little tray for holding things.Works well, as advertised.I drilled a hole in my garage workbench to mount it for working on small things that require magnification. It serves that purpose well. The light has lots of brightness and color adjustments as well which may not be necessary but is nice.Got this for my husband's shop. He loves it for the magnification and hands free ease on small items!I gave as gift and want one myself nowLight went dim pretty quickly. I just use another lamp behind it.
