I got the desk for a tv stand so I could put one of my snake tanks underneath it. The desk is sturdy enough to hold my 50 in tv . The open slots are perfect for my cable box internet modem and some decorative items. My snake tank fit under the seat perfectly. It’s a 36l by19t by 24 deep (inches) there is space on top and on the sides so the tank does not touch it he desk . It has a very nice look and over all I’m very happy with the purchase.
