A great light with lots of character! Probably not that good for a reading lamp but it does provide a nice ambiance! Perfect for those who love crows and their symbolism. Crows are very intelligent and are great at problem solving. Such characters! Consider yourself lucky if you can make friends with a crow but if that's not your thing, having this lamp around is the next best thing!I got this for my boyfriend who is very into horror novels and he LOVED it. It's made out of nice material (not super cheap material) and it's very easy to assemble. Super bright and looks great on the desk!One of its footies is broken, but.. it still standsIts super cute!!! I want more!!Huge thank you to Amazon Customer who said to buy an M6 hanger bolt in their review. The bolt included with the lamp has two blunt ends instead of one blunt end and one pointed end. For my particular wall, I needed the kind of hanger bolt with a pointed end so I could screw it directly into the sheet rock. In my case, I couldn't use a drywall mount because I have cinder blocks about an inch away from the sheet rock and the drywall mount is not able to be installed flush to the wall. My local hardware store didn't have any hanger bolts, and my Home Depot didn't have them in the right size. So I had to order them from Amazon, which means I have about 19 hanger bolts I'll never use but at least I was able to finally install the lamp. The provided light bulb is the right amount of brightness for my needs, though ideally I would like it to be a warmer light. And of course, while my local hardware store has several E12 light bulbs, they do not have any E14 bulbs. So if I decide to replace this, I'll need to find something online.Other than the installation hassle, I love how it looks, especially considering how much cheaper this is than other versions of the same thing that I found online.The lamp arrived quickly and is exactly as described. My only complaint is that the cord easily falls out of the bird's beak. I had not intended to give it away, but my son and his girlfriend liked it so much that I gave it to them.It is a very cute novelty lamp. We were very pleased.For the model of resin plastic lamp - this was the best price I could find (a lot of other folks sell it at much higher prices!). And while mine had a little damage to the resin on the underside of the "tail" it isn't visible unless you look for it. The only big downside for this lil' guy is that the bulbs a bit dim for my use (easily fixed!) annnd the hardware they send along is ALMOST worse than useless.If you want to order this - you are GOING to need an M6 hanger bolt (metric size 6) to fit the threading inside the "perch" that mounts flush to the wall. The hanger bolt has a blunt end (that goes into the perch) annnd a screw type end that would go into the wall and anchor. That'll keep your lamp flush mounted and not flopping around or pulling out of the wall if you snag the cord as you walk by/reach for water in the middle of the night.Absolutely love this lamp. I needed light in an odd place and ran across this while shopping. Unique, fun, works really really wel. What a fun idea.Beautiful but difficulty to mount. Very heavy. Wouldn't even try it on drywall.
