Went through much agonizing over which electric standing desk frame to buy! I have a desk top.There were VERY few reviews for this Costway mechanism. So I hope this helps you:PROS;- a solid sturdy well-finished frame. Tight fit, no sharp edges with this heavy iron frame.-well engineered. Noticed that while putting it together. I.E.- the foot to leg base uses 4 solid bolts to hold the desk steady. Many brands use only 2.- easy to adjust the fram to your desk top dimensions (but as always measure twice, cut once. It will be difficult to re adjust once the desk is fully assembled).-the strong motor is whisper quiet. [TIP: at first the was a soft clicking noise, but that disappeared by adjusting the drive shaft a hair’s width away from the motor’s drive housing).-the when the desk is at standing height the work area is ample and very stable. No wobble, shaking or bouncing.-a low height the desk sits a bit higher than 27”, [but that’s find with me because I sometimes to will use exercise pedal machine for those long work hours of sitting].[this adjustable clearance is also great because I have a 2nd lower self keyboard for special key functions . Lots of clearance for the knees!- the demure control panel is great too!- Discovered by accident that this motor has a built in emergency STOP sensor too! I discovered this by accident. [OOPS!] A nice feature.CONS:- none so far. Very happy!I have been using a basic (large, but lighter weight) IKEA desk top for my work area. I am confident that the frame will hold up to another heavier table top if need to enhance my desk space.To be fair, I have only been using the desk for 3 weeks now, but have been putting the platform through its paces. I will update this review if need be.Don’t know how Costway can get away with producing this quality desk frame at this price. I’ve seen it for more than double this Amazon price. I am thinking this may be a discontinued closeout. But their loss is our gain. So, my advice is: if you are in market for an adjustable height desk frame, snatch this AMAZING bargain up..
