I have a regular green desk lamp but then I found this desk lamp. I have Tiffany type lamps in my home and this will make my desk look so much better.It is beautiful! Just love this for narrow console table.It’s a beautiful Lamp but the light is very very Low. !!!The base is a little "over the top". Wish it was a little less of such a repeat of the shade, quite gaudy actually. I do like the shade, but hadn't paid attention to the base. :( It was a gift, so I'll keep it. It serves the purpose anyway.It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for : )Very nicely detailed and sturdy!I looked at a lot of Tiffany style lamps for my Grand piano. I was very pleased with the coloring on the lamp and the nice dark brown base. It was also important that it have a 60 watt bulb for viewing the music, which it comes with the ability to use a 60 watt bulb. Packing was excellent - no broken pieces.
