It was kind of difficult to assemble but it was more of my fault since I was the only person and the instructions recommended two people. Plus I didn’t have the space to lay everything out, however everything is labeled and I didn’t get any bad cuts that you normally get from Amazon furniture like when they are missing screw holes or the cuts are crooked. I love that this desk is great for hiding cords too plus there is so much storage which I love since I keep all of my college books.This desk was so worth it! I’ve been wanting a good sturdy desk that had plenty of storage space and a hutch on top (I have a 1 year old so I def need stuff to be up higher!) and I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on one.This one was just what I needed! Delivery was fast and no problems. Assembly wasn’t horrible. My 15 yr old daughter and I assembled it in roughly 2-3 hours (while chasing off baby brother who kept trying to help and standing on pieces). The directions were easy to follow. We sorted the boards into piles like the instructions had them and it helped a lot so we didn’t have to keep hunting for the right board through all of them.It’s huge once assembled and very sturdy. I don’t worry any of it will fall over or tear up with regular use. And the amount it holds is amazing!! I had several of the 3 drawer carts and a shelf and 2 milk crates piled beside my old desk to hold everything else craft related I used in addition to basic desk items. This holds it all! Craft stuff, desk papers and folders, printer, laptop, coloring stuff, kids stuff, all of it!The shelves on the inside next to your legs are huge and a great idea as it uses otherwise wasted space on other desks.I will say you may want to assemble close to or where you want it though. Cause we later decided to move it to a different room and that wasn’t fun. It’s big and heavy and awkward to move. Haha.But I love it!Box was pretty beat up, interesting a picture of the other item ordered in the box had a photo, but believe the driver was probably embarrassed to deliver what was loaded on the truck. Few pieces have damage, and will visit with supplier.Instruction get an - ok. Board marking at about 50% visible. Would recommend dimensions be included with on the instructions, otherwise it is a little bit of a jigsaw puzzle.Got this for my daughter to add to her newly redesigned room. This arrived quickly and was well packaged. Even though the box had some damage, nothing got through the significant packing to damage the insides. The box was extremely heavy, so maybe they could package it in 2 boxes? In any case, the instructions were clearly written and easy to follow, and I was able to put this together in under an hour. Overall it seems very sturdy and my daughter loves it. I would recommend this desk.Very cute and easy to assemble! It only took me a few hours. As a college student, the shelves and drawer are amazing and it comes with a little computer usb deck I didn’t even notice on here! Definitely recommendNo written directions, just pictures very frustrating trying to figure out what piece goes where, Came with one broken piece in the parts bag was opened up all over the place, I would not buy this again not for over $200, also the paint was chipping in a few places, Once we finally got it together it’s not a bad looking desk seems very sturdy but again it was very frustrating putting it together I’m guessing it took us a good couple of hoursI'm going to start by saying that now that I have the desk assembled, I think it is a lovely desk.Otherwise everything thing about putting this desk together was horrible. The instructions booklet in the box seemed like a photocopy of the instructions. The parts were poorly labeled, if labeled at all. Literally none of the pouches for the fasteners were labeled as to which parts they were.I had to do way too much guessing and stared at the boards a bunch of times to figure out which was which. Technically the boards are labeled, once on a small side, that literally had a hole drilled through it so I could clearly tell which piece it was, in a nonsense numbering pattern. Like "A", "A1", "C", "C1", "C2", "F", "G", "G1". And it's like maybe all the C's have the same length or something.Really it needed to either have the part label printed more then once on the unfinished sides, or it needed a damn sticker on a major face so that you could find what you needed faster.Plus the USB hub's cord is way too short and the hub itself seems like it might be a safety hazard so I wouldn't even bother installing it.Based on others' reviews i bought a pure black desk. I love this desk. it's spacious enough for my printer and study space. The design is excellent. Fyi all the wooden boards are numbered on the corners.Pros:Storage capacityCons:HeavyRecommendation:I suggest they should have installed the phone charging station below the monitor area. My big printer blocked access to the charging station.Came with a few piece damaged pieces but they shipped the replacement for free.I had no problem putting it together. The plastic USB hub ring doesn't fit in the hole.I would suggest to not put any (hot) drink on your table. It won't be good when it comes in touch with liquid or high temperature. I like how it design with a monitor raise so you can tuck away your keyboard and mouse.I wish they made the covering layer thicker with higher quality for the price I paid. This one feels like paper to the touch.To my pleasant surprise the desk showed up a week early. Nothing was cracked or damaged in the package. The colour is absolutely lovely and it looks very nice in our living room. It definitely takes longer than the hour and 40 minutes it suggests in the manual haha. But definitely worth the time and price. The only downside was my computer tower didn’t fit in the space in the bottom left (as some photos in the description showed) because it was to narrow. Overall though I would 100% recommend.Note for the seller: it’s a very heavy package. Based on other reviews damage is consistently sustained to a corner of the desk. It is only cosmetic, and if a part must get damaged, this piece is acceptable. However adding more padding to corners or something MAY avoid this entirely. Apparently it’s a recurring problem.Regardless I’m still very happy with this purchase. It is in 100% working order in spite of cosmetic blemish due to transportation impactHad this desk for a year and a half, was put together according to directions. It was still somewhat wobbly, I never moved it once after setting it up, and when rearranging my room it fell apart two days ago! I took caution, got my brother to help me and everything. Very upsetting for the amount of money paid. That’s what I get for getting a desk made out of cork board.
