I ordered two of these to replace shades on bedside lamps. They arrived in a padded envelope. Each came in 2 pieces—the metal framework and a pleated shade rolled in a tight cylinder. There were no instructions for attaching the shade to the frame and it was not intuitive to figure out. I did eventually figure it out and it was actually quite ingenious, but it’s tricky. The color, described in the description as “apricot” is actually a light golden yellow. The assembled shades are fine and I would have given another star, except for the lack of instructions and the inadequate packaging. One of my shades had been slightly crushed, resulting in a couple damaged pleats. I straightened them as much as I could and turned them toward the wall where they aren’t visible, but that could have been prevented if they had been in a box instead of a flimsy envelope. It took so long to get them that I opted to keep the damaged shade rather than return it and wait another two months for a replacement. Nice product deserved better documentation and packaging.
