This lamp is unique and eye catching. Everyone that sees it is wowed. I like the light it produces. It is easy to fall over though. Seems top heavy. I have to be careful.This is an eclectic light - and a conversation starter. I am a design geek and quite like it. The top ball and string is always hanging. To turn the light on, you lift up the ball on the bottom string - and the two balls are magnetic - so it is held up by the top ball/string. The light gets accidentally turned on/off easily if you pull on the bottom string at all or drop the ball while attempting to connect them - it is twitchy. You may have to practice turning it on a little bit to avoid looking like an idiot.We ordered the white one. It is a cheap feeling plastic, this the -1 star. Still cool, would buy againThe entire lamp is the cheapest plastic, finish on magnets is horrible. Diffuser for led strip is already detaching from the housing and an LED has already gone bad I haven't had this lamp for more than 3 months. Absolutely regret this purchaseThe lamp has a cool concept, but there were a couple of issues with mine. As soon as I opened it and got it set up, one of the magnetic balls fell off. No biggie, I glued it and it’s just fine. My main concern is the brightness of the light. This would not be a lamp I’d want on my nightstand. The light reminds me of one of those make up mirror lights. Overall it has a cool design and it’s very modern and sleek. I just wish the light was a bit more dim.So there’s a couple of things I cannot get over this lamp, functionally it works fine but it is extremely cheaply made and not worth the price point. First of all the build quality is terrible and the lights are not how they are on the picture but it is pretty bright. IT IS NOT A MAGNET SWITCH this makes me so mad because that it the whole reason I bought it is because I thought it was cool but no it turns on when the string is being pulled not when it is on the magnet which sucks because it doesn’t always turn off on my night stand because the string is being pulled a little bit. Another thing is it doesn’t come with a little usb to ac adapter or the little block that goes it the wall and I get a 15 dollar lamp not having one that’s fine it’s 15 bucks but a 70 dollar lamp are you kidding me. There is no brightness setting so it’s not practical but I expected that when I bought it so not too big of a deal. The quality is not good at all I can easily flex the whole lamp and you have to be very careful as not to break it. Bottom line not worth 70 buck at all I would pay 20 dollars and be satisfied with the productI love this lamp! Striking appearance & gives a soft light to the room. I ordered the red color which really highlights the lamp in the room.Would have given it 5 stars if It came with a power plug. My lamps just came with the usb cable. They’re light, could use a more studier build but they’re bright and look pretty nice. A $60 price point would be a better fit.
