Prehistorically Modern Twist to a Classic Toy An Innovative twist to the Original Drinking Bird, the scientific novelty that has been around since the 1960's! The T-Rex bobs his head into a glass of water over and over without continuous stimulation. When the Tyrannosaurus Rex is in motion, he mimics a perpetual motion machine, but he is actually just a simple example of an evaporation heat engine. About 8 Inches tall. Please note this product is not intended for use by children under age of 8. Inside the glass tube is methylene chloride which may stain clothing and other surfaces if broken. Do not swallow liquid or allow to come in contact with the eyes or skin. Getting Started Use your finger to push the T-Rex's head down so he can get a "drink" of water. (the mouth must actually get wet) The Process Begins Soon after his first "drink" you will be able to see the fluid starting to rise inside. Almost Thirsty Again Once the fluid level in the tube rises all the way to the top you'll know the T-Rex will be ready for another "drink" soon. The Cycle Begins This time the T-Rex will dip to take another "drink" of water all on his own. He must do this on account of his short little arms. At this point he will continue the cycle uninterrupted so long as you keep him supplied with plenty of water!

This is just a really cool toy that my daughter loves to watch endlessly. Now, you can’t really just leave a toddler alone with it because they would break it, but it’s worth it for the entertainment they get out of it while being supervised. 10/10, would definitely recommend for those interested toddlers or ones who love dinosaurs.
