I honestly expected this to be somewhat flimsy OR be a pain to rise or lower (I imagined a lot of pinched fingers in my future). Nope. It arrived fully assembled and STURDY. Almost heavy! To raise it, you hold both sides and gently lift to your preferred height. To lower, raise it all the way up and easily lower it to the bottom setting. Smooth and easy! Well worth the cost and perfect to transition my standard desk to a walking desk. Love it! (The wrist pad in the pics is mine and not included)The package is extremely fine, and I thought it may be some high-tech device got wrapped and protected so well.The converter is ready to use out of the box, zero assembly work.My monitor is 42 inch and 40 lbs, and only this one can support it.I work in a cubicle and have this on my desk for when I get tired of sitting. It's quite sturdy and I'm happy that it fits my mouse (with mousepad) and laptop. It makes a good bit of noise when raising and lowering.
