I use this in my car and it works well with essential oils. I have dogs so my car always needs air freshening! This does the job and its really cute! It’s powered by USB port and that’s really convenient because I could also use it at my desk in the office. It also has a light indicator for when it’s on. Shuts off automatically when the water runs out.The first one I received was defective and the company was able to send a replacement right away.I recommend soaking the wick in water and essential oil for an hour before initial use. The wick has to be saturated before it can produce the cool mist.Overall it’s a good purchase and will be using this a lot!I like my little guy enough. It's definitely more of a decoration than an actual humidifier or Aroma diffuser for my office, but that's okay by me. It does run a good while; it probably runs about 6 hours which is almost a full work day. I thought(!) I was having trouble turning it on and off, but it just takes a moment to toggle between consistent mist and intermittent mist. The green "nightlight" is not that bright and only lights up half the head since the humidifier gear is in the center; if the light burns out it will probably just mean the end of that functionality as I see no way to fix it. Also, the description says "Aroma Diffuser" but they recommend against using any essential oils in it given it can clog up, so that's a bit confusing. For roughly $15, I probably could have gotten something a bit more effective, but he's fun to look at and a conversation starter.It stopped working properly within two to three weeks after I bought it. I now have to turn on the diffuser and readjust the head to make the gas come on and work. It is soooooooo annoying:(It's exactly what I was looking for: a personal humidifier for my nightstand! I've only had it for a day, but it's quick and easy to use. It runs very smoothly, and it makes no sound. There's two different diffuser settings, and it looks even better than the picture! I gave 4 stars because the LED lights aren't that great, and mine only has one light color (green). So if you want this mainly as a nightlight, I would not recommend, but the humidfier part is amazing!So cute! This little humidifier is adorable and works well. It's small and perfect for my work desk. Even though it's small you can add a lot of water so it lasts hours with out having to refill. My only complaint is it is hard to tell when it is on so you have to just wait till it starts misting. There is also a glow option if you push the left eye. The glow is faint but great as a night light for small kids.I ordered the Joy Susie cuz of the product personality. It's rather small so expect less mist output (its for small areas) and filling it more often. The instructions are a bit sparse, although I do like the at-a-glance portion. Offering more details including trouble shooting tips would be helpful. 1 part says to use "sponge stick to clean atomizer when fog becomes small". The written nor pic instructions don't say the sponge stick should be inserted in devise to make it operate. I almost returned item cuz it didn't work, until my hubby tried inserting it- HEY, now it works! I hadn't put oil in it yet, so didn't see a need for sponge stick - kinda like a lantern & the wick. Also instructions say to "flip" the eyes. Just touch the eyes, don't "flip" them- you may cause damage.Worked at first then that was it. Followed instructions but no steam coming out. A waste of money.It says too it is portable but it is not you need yo plug it!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------After my review, i have been contacted by the customer support suggesting to help me on the issue. However i already had return the diffuser. So it could have been a malfunction or an issue on my side, and they kindly offered help.The only thing is i was expecting something portable, thus wireless but this is not the case. it is portable but not wireless. so I think it is important to have this in the description.Thanksreally cool product til it quit working. I have emailed JoySusie, so will refrain from any negative thoughts until they have a chance to repair my problem. I did do the wick saturate for 24 hours. I also used fragrant oil. Once used the essential oil and added the recommended 2 drop max. Some how light works, usb cord works but when I tap right eye, no mist. This is a dissapointment. Since I bought it May 11, 2017 I'm hoping they replace it with a new one or tell me what is wrong with the one I purchased. Cool concept anyway.Received it yesterday. Plugged it in got it all set up. And there is only light on the left side of his head and no mist or smell at all.Very poor packaging. And no instructions. Quite disappointing actually! ?
