The light is very good, the children especially like it, I will buy one more todayI really like this lamp & its wood bottom & its neutral colors that can match in any room with just about any decor! The size of it is perfect...it's not large so it doesn't take up a lot of space on a table & it stands sturdily. It was easy to put together & gives off a lot of soft light!I'm very pleased with it & the only issue is that t he lamp shade is dented a little bit in a small spot & I believe it was just due to shipping or that the box got accidentally smushed a bit where it was being stored (since the outside of the box was a bit pushed in at one corner) so the lamp shade probably got pushed in a little bit right at that spot. I couldn't manage to flatten the little dent out of the lamp shade, but it's at the back of the lamp shade fortunately, so it isn't noticeable when it's sitting on my tall cabinet, but when I place it on a lower table & you see the inside of the lamp when walking by, then it's noticeable. But I won't bother with a replacement since I don't think it was defective in how it was manufactured. I think it just got smushed a bit in storage/shipping is all. And you can't see it the dent all (since it's on the back of the lamp) when I place it on my cabinet which is higher up, so you aren't seeing inside the top of the lamp to see the dented spot.I still really like it & I'm happy with it & it's a nice, natural-looking lamp that gives off a lot of soft, white light & you can put an incandescent bulb in it if you'd prefer a less "white" light than the LED bulb that it comes with. :) I tried putting an incandescent bulb in it & it worked & either bulb (LED or incandescent) gives off a nice light in this lamp!Cute lamp but too small for my needs, returned. But 5 stars because it is made well and cute.Just what I was looking for. It is surprisingly bright. A perfect bedroom lamp that won't topple a lightweight nightstand.
