I took a few weeks to write this because I was pretty steamed and didn't want to completely slam the seller, as much as they deserve it. Bottom line, my daughter loves the bed and it does look pretty good. However, you get much better quality at your local Wally World. The defects in parts were simply unacceptable for the price (see photos). Multiple cracks, extraneous holes, chips, unequal painting, etc. There were multiple instances where holes predrilled for cams into which you put screws were not drilled deep enough, requiring me to risk breaking wood and making them deeper. The sticker labeling the parts did not come off easily and I had to use goo-gone to get them off completely - at least the ones that could come off because some *were actually painted over* with the white paint. The only good thing is that I was able to move similar parts around so that most of the defects were hidden.The instructions are horrible.Finally. The drawers. Ohhhhh the drawers. They slide about as easy as hard rubber against hard rubber, and those cuts were amongst the worst of the defects. There is a photo attached of an unpainted portion with a cut through which the guide goes. All the drawer parts were cut with as much quality as the one shown. I will be going to Home Depot and try to replace them with side-mounted wheeled guides.2 stars because my daughter likes it and it is safe despite the flaws. The price point for this quality is outrageous.Note: the boxes and packaging in which this bed came were in good shape, so none of this was caused by shipping. That and the fact that one part had been glued back together and many of the flaws were painted over shows the manufacturer either knew (or should have known) about poor quality.
