Overall I like this product. But it is made of very heavy particleboard. The package is stamped with “Heavy - lift with two persons” on it, but let’s face it, there’s only one guy in the UPS truck. So it’s virtually impossible for him to manhandle this thing which is the size of the desktop, without banging the sides or corners. And of course the most important piece, the desktop, is at the bottom, so you have to unpack the whole box to inspect that piece, which of course is damaged. Since it’s particle board, there is no way to truly fix this, and the particles just disintegrate with the laminate damaged not holding it all together. Do I return? Well I’ve unpacked the whole box, all the styrofoam in the corners is destroyed, if not by the delivery, then in extracting all the pieces from the box. So there’s no way I can realistically repack this for a return. The damage is in the back corner of this corner desk. It’ll be hidden by the monitor I plan to put on it. Am I ticked? Yes. But do I return? Not really worth the hassle. The pieces look good when done other than the damage. The workmanship was also actually very good. While it’s not truly easy to assemble because of the bulk and weight of the pieces, all the holes lined up perfectly, all the hardware was there with spares. I’ll note that I ordered three pieces from this line and two arrived damaged. I was able to exchange the other damaged piece because that damage was in the top corner as I opened the box and repacking was not an issue.I needed a small corner desk to set next to my work table but everything I searched for was just too big. This was perfect. Assembly was easy enough by myself. Apparently there are even additions I can purchase to add onto this desk. I don't need them but it's nice to have the option because this really is a nice piece.It is nice and heavy. It's about 1 1/2" shorter than my other desk I'm using it with, so I need to find something to raise it up. I just figured they'd be the same height. So, my suggestion is for you to get your tape measure out and don't be lazy like me, lol.There was a small damaged area in the front right where the keyboard goes. I did not feel like taking it back apart and trying to stuff it back in the box (this thing is HEAVY), but the seller gave me a discount of $20, so all is wellI used to order for my office, now I ordered for home and I am happy with my desk, looks solid and comfortable.I am so disappointing. The package arrived and the box was falling apart. The inside padding was completely inadequate to protect the chipped up and scratched (otherwise beautiful) desk piece.Great desk size for corner, great quality and color choices
