The size of this is perfect, fits nicely on the countertop. The pump is very quiet, cannot hear it over the running water sound. Mine sits about 15 feet from my chair and the water can easily be heard, I had issues with my pump after a couple of days and the seller sent a new one quickly. No problems with the new one, great customer service if you do have issues. You do have to add water every 3-4 days depending on how much you run it. Super simple, at first I was remove the rocks and taking the top part off but you can just add it without disassembly, the water will trickle down where it belongs if you just pour it from the outside. You can just not put the light in if you don't want it and the rocks on top are optionally just depends on how you want it to look. I've been looking at similar ones for years but didn't want to spend the money, this one is more fairly priced. I'm so glad I splurged on this! Nice relaxing sound!
