The desk pad has a good look that doesn't break the bank. I love the contrast of the black against my white desk. The material used seems to be like a faux leather. Its holding up quite well and is pretty scratch resistant.One thing I wished that it had though was more of a matte/smoother finish. I bought this mat with the intention of using it as my mouse pad as well and although it is quite possible in using the desk pad as one, the mouse feels as if it is sticking to the pad as you move it around. I just ended up using a mouse pad over it.Shipping was fast and on time. It came in a giant box to ensure that the product was not bent in transit. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking to organize their workspace!
