I just wanted something for my small home office to move some air around in the summer and it does the job well enough for that. Three speeds are nice to have. Quiet on low speed yet pushes air well even at that speed; gets loud on high, which some people may like for white noise, but boy it really pushes a lot of air for its size at that level. Very portable and convenient as long as it's on a relatively hard surface. I like the style. The tilting is only good in minor angles up to around 45 degrees because the closer you get to 90 the wide frame blocks the air flow quite a bit, but that's not really a big issue. And the soft diffused light? Nice touch. Three levels of brightness - great for enhancing the mood on a 'hot' date. Wind blowing in my hair... ok, maybe not.
