I bought this mounting system to be able move my mic from a stand in front of me. I wanted something that positioned my podcasting mic in a better position that allowed me to relax a bit when in use. HIGHLY Recommend this product! I don't use all of the pieces, but the price and build of this stand is much better than another one I tried with bad results. This will last a very long time on my desk.
